SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs for their order. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Packages are shipped via USPS or UPS ground; the shipping time for these services is typically 1-5 business days within the continental US. Tara Feather Designs will provide tracking and shipping information via email after payment is made in full and the order is placed in the care of USPS or UPS. Once the order has shipped, Tara Feather Designs cannot be held responsible for damages, loss, or other shipping circumstances such as delayed deliveries. Tara Feather Designs is unable to provide tracking updates beyond the information that third party mail carriers release. Please note that each item has a unique timeframe for production before it is ready to ship. Reference the individual product listing for estimated production times to know when your order will ship. Production, packaging, and shipping may take longer during the holiday season. Delayed customer email responses and/or feedback regarding custom orders may result in production and shipping delays.

RETURN POLICY

Eligible items may be returned within 10 business days. If 10 business days have passed since purchase, a refund or exchange will unfortunately not be provided; shop credit may be issued instead at the discretion of the seller. To be eligible for a return, the produce must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging. Non-returnable items include sale items and custom items, such as custom watercolor paintings, personalized items, downloadable products, and gift certificates. To complete a return, contact me directly via email at hello@tarafeatherdesigns.com or submit a contact form. A receipt or proof of purchase (e.g. order number) is required, as well as a description of the issue. A shipping address for return will be provided via email. Partial refunds may be provided at the discretion of the seller. Shipping costs are non-refundable; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

REFUND POLICY

Once the return is received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation email to notify you that I have received your returned item and am processing the refund. A returned item may be deemed ineligible for a refund if it does not meet the return criteria listed above. If the item is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original payment method. Processing times may vary. Please note that items valued over $75 should be considered for a trackable shipping service and/or shipping insurance. Tara Feather Designs is not responsible for lost packages, but you may contact the mail carrier separately to inquire about a refund for a lost package. Exchanges may be offered if items arrive to the customer defective or damaged; exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis. Tara Feather Designs reserves the right to deny exchange eligibility. See "Damaged Items" section below.If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you may be eligible for shop credit at the same value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you via mail or email. If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or the gift-giver had the order shipped to themselves, it will be treated as a regular return and communication will be handled with the gift-giver. As stated above, all shipping costs are non-refundable including return shipping.

LOST OR DELAYED ORDERS

USPS considers packages to be lost if they are not delivered within 15 days. If your package has not arrived to you within 15 days after you receive a shipping confirmation email from Tara Feather Designs, please contact me promptly so I am able to file a lost package claim. Shipping statuses stating, "in transit, arriving late" are normal. Please note that while I wish I could simply deliver your order to your doorstep myself, once the order is placed in the hands of USPS or UPS, it's out of my control. Tara Feather Designs is not responsible for any delays, lost packages, or undeliverable packages once the order leaves the TFD studio.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Exchanges may be offered if items arrive to the customer defective or damaged; exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis. Tara Feather Designs reserves the right to deny exchange eligibility. You have 10 business days from the date of your order arrives to notify Tara Feather Designs of a damaged item. Please email me at hello@tarafeatherdesigns.com or submit a contact form with your order number and photos that document the damage on the produce as well as the packaging itself. A new item will be shipped or shop credit will be issued depending on shop availability and the item ordered.

ITEMS RETURNED TO SENDER OR UNDELIVERABLE

If the customer does not input the correct mailing address or if there is an error on the customer's part that results in the package being returned to sender, Tara Feather Designs is not responsible for the cost of shipping the item again. If an error on part results in the package being returned to sender, I will gladly re-ship the item to the customer at no additional cost and sincerely apologize for any delays incurred by my error.
